Some find it easier to remember this formula when converting between °F and °C or vice-versa

• Add 40 to the starting value
• Multiply by 5/9 if you're starting with °F or 9/5 if °C (reminder: 5/9 is a simple Fraction - if you have °F use 5/9 Fraction)
• Subtract 40 to get your final answer
